DIY No Sew Felt Bandaids

Do you have a little one that loves to play doctor? Make these adorable felt bandaids for even more fun imaginative play!

These bandaids can easily and quickly be made and require no sewing! Keep reading to see what I used to make these and how I did it!

Felt Bandaids are so great to add in imaginative play. These bandaids can be used on dolls or people!

Materials

  • Felt (tan, white, and pink)
  • Bandaid template
  • Fabric Velcro
  • Scissors
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Iron

I bought tan felt to make these bandaids, but you can make colorful bandaids out of any felt you have! I added a square of white felt to the bandaid on the back and a heart on the front.

For the bandaid template, I simply copied a bandaid template from Google images and copied it into word and resized it. I printed it out to cut it and trace it. You can make the bandaids any size that will work for your child!

I used Iron On Fabric Velcro in the color Beige. This way, I didn’t have to sew anything, but you could use a sew on version!

Directions

  1. Print out a bandaid template and trace (or draw) onto the tan felt.
  2. Trace or draw white squares that will fit on the bandaid.
  3. Trace or draw hearts on the pink felt.
  4. Cut out all felt pieces.
  5. Next, hot glue the white felt square in the middle of the tan felt bandaid.
  6. Then, on the other side of the bandaid, hot glue the pink heart in the middle.
  7. Cut small strips of the velcro. Put one piece of velcro on the edge of the front of the bandaid, and the other piece of velcro on the back of the bandaid. Make sure they will attach when the edges are put together.
  8. Next, you need to iron on the fabric velcro to make sure it is bonded for about 90 seconds (I followed the directions on the package). I flipped over my bandaids and ironed on the opposite side of where the velcro was placed.
  9. Once bandaids are cool, the bonding will be set and they are ready to play with!

Include these felt bandaids in your child’s play doctor kit. This doctor kit (pictured above) is loved by my daughter. It is a wooden kit that includes all these doctor tools and the stethoscope even works! I got this doctor kit from Classic World, but I will link a similar one below. It is so much fun!
